About me

IN THE OFFICE

I could never decide if I wanted to be a director, designer or writer. So I didn’t.

Instead, I honed each craft. Starting as a designer, moving into art direction, then into copywriting. Winning awards in each role. This diverse background gives me a unique, hands-on ability to bring a brand’s vision to life.

Traditionally trained but not traditionally minded, I blend cultural insight and creative provocation with emerging technology to deliver transformative ideas that thrive in a world of unrelenting change. Ensuring work is created consciously, with a positive impact on both society and the environment.

It’s never about size, but scale of ambition. I’ve grown a start-up into a fast-growing creative business, and a 40-person regional agency into a 400-strong global network across Europe, EMEA, North America and APAC. Building inclusive, high-performing teams and guiding businesses through expansion, evolution and successful acquisitions.

I believe modern creativity, at its best, is a powerful business accelerator. A belief that has secured adidas as a global CX and retail experience partner, transformed Jet2’s “Nothing Beats a Jet2 Holiday” into a globally recognised cultural moment, won Hisense’s global AOR (B2B and B2C) and evolved KIND from an FMCG brand into a lifestyle platform. Each delivering meaningful growth.

All of this has shaped who I am today. A progressive, ego-free leader who blends creative excellence with commercial acumen to build brands that play a meaningful role in people’s lives.

OUT OF OFFICE

Alongside my work, I’ve explored other ways of getting my ideas out in the world, ranging from literature and scriptwriting to cartoons. I’ve published industry books and contributed thought pieces to leading magazines and podcasts.

Applying my experience, I work as a creative consultant and board-level advisor to a select number of clients. Founding No Fixed Agency and collaborating with THE_NEDS (Non-Exec Directors), I lead and deliver strategic, creative transformation when growth or renewed energy is required.

I’m also drawn to anything connected to British sub-culture, a passion reflected in my ambassador and advisory role for UK fashion label Merc. Helping keep the brand culturally relevant through new collections, artist collaborations, and championing emerging bands and musicians.
